Suan Farang Kangsai

This exhibit is closed and no longer open to the public. There seems to be no plans to re-open it.

This simple brick and mortar house was completed in 1909. It was originally used by Princess Dara Rasmi, a consort of King Chulalongkorn.

The building now houses portraits of the royal family and various royal paraphernalia such as the Choomsai, a three-tiered umbrella with a fringe of silk threads used in royal cremations and coronations; royal sedan chairs and thrones.
